i know there’s already one of these out there, but in my opinion there can never be enough history. these categories focus on humanist moments; moments where we’ve transcended and connected and been greater than ourselves, whether that was through social and reform movements, or a moment of change or revolution, or maybe just a small humanizing moment between brothers, or friends, or strangers.  the history of humanity is a complex narrative with an infinite number of perspectives.  it can seem vast and impenetrable, but small moments of human kindness can be as important as leaders and martyrs and kings.  history can divide or it can unite, but above all else, history is human.
